If only "A" for effort was a real thing. The waitress was new, and I'm sure she meant well. However, it was mistake after mistake after mistake. The manager tried to make it right afterwards which I appreciated, and is the only reason I gave this review more than a scathing comment and one star. Get it togther Chilis you used to be my "go to spot." The ribs sure were good though!
I ordered a salad and my buddy ordered a steak. Well when I got my salad it literally looked like both the waitress and the cook DID NOT CARE. The lettuce was all wilted and brown. Come on people. You don't leave a salad sitting in a 100 degree kitchen for 15 minutes. As we say in the restaurant industry "it dies". Obviously they have VERY POOR AND INCOMPETENT MANAGEMENT. These people weren't trained properly.
It's a chain, so it's a formula kind of place. The food is decent, service is good. The atmosphere is ok. It can be noisy, especially if you're seated next to the kitchen. They used to have a better menu, but its still ok. The chips and salsa are still really good.
I am a avid reviewer on restaurants. Chilies had been my favorite since I was a youngster. Staying savage all ma live ya feel me. This restaurant is da bomb. When I got here I got the famous saying “welcome to chilies” I felt like a million bucks. The food was savage. This restaurant is savage. Issa lit place family.
Good service! Food looks like came out a microwave. Not pleased!
