One star for front desk staff only. Checked in thanksgiving night for Black Friday shopping. Checked into room 301 got in and flipped sheets back to find fresh bodily fluid and pubic hair all over the bed and pillows. Went to front desk checked us into room 303, packed our stuff went into room 303 to find the room was full of people! Went again to desk, checked us into room 304 on opposite side of building, went in everything seems okay. Went to bed woke up and found 3 BED BUGS on the bed! I was sick to my stomach. I showed pictures to the front desk staff of the horrible visit to Motel 6, we wouldn’t ever stay in a place like this normally but it was the only option we had other then to sleep in our car. The girl at the desk was shocked and refunded us right away. I really hope this gets taken care of before the BBB shuts them down.
Bathroom door - splitting apart badly! Head Maid was very crabby at first and NEVER gave more than 3 bath towels for 4 people! She became nicer, I think she was over worked. Frankly same towel issue at $115 a night hotel! Bed spread had burn holes. The room smelled like smoke in a non-smoking room! AC unit kept shutting off, had to unplug and replug, probably just needed a filter. Desk staff - AWESOME GUYS ! Better than the $115 a night place. The microwave oven in centrally located but has almost no power, fyi. Located next to hwy. but not too noisy. It was fine for a couple days, we just had to stay 7 - too long in any hotel! If your $ is tight, you are fine to stay here.
I ALWAYS travel and use Motel 6. After this Stay I will NEVER stay at another motel 6 at all. Up on arriving to check in Lobby smelt like a dirty gym locker..Mats on the floor were filthy and place needed a good cleaning. At this point i was out of options seeing as everything was booked or out of my price range. So I checked in anyway..Person working desk was nice and location is perfect. Everything you could want within a mile. So once I check in we go to our room #136. As soon as you opened the door the smell of dirty musky feet and cigarette smoke smacked you in the face. I sprayed spray thinking it was a moisture smell being grand floor yet the smell was to strong and continued coming back. So i contact the front desk and basically told I am out of luck due to all rooms being booked. The longer i am in the room and the more I continued to look around I noticed this room was filthy!!! Everywhere! I have plenty of pictures to share if any one is interested. The bottom of outside of tub had dirt that you could wipe off with a dry towel, Dirt and dust covered the window covers, blankets in a non smoking room filled with cigarette burns, towel rack hanging off the wall and only enough towels/wash rags for 1 person when reservation was for 2!!! I called back up front and again am told the same thing even when asking if they could have someone come clean. At this point i have no other options.I went to the store to buy materials to clean the room as well as a blanket and pillows to sleep with. Pretty pathetic that after spending almost $100 for the room I had to not only clean it but had to buy material to do so!! Also when booking it says all rooms are updated and remodeled. This room was far from remolded in the bathroom. Tub had a huge crack in material all around the faucet. This is something i would expect to pay $30 a night not $100 and defiantly not what i expect after all from a Motel 6. Sad it only takes 1 branch to make me never want to stay again!!! 1star is generous for them!
Motel 6 - Nashua, NH Exit 5W .. I requested a microwave/fridge for my room. Which you all know, is an up charge. Though I have the fridge, there is still no microwave, an I have been to the office three times. I was told that I am free to go to the office, an that the front desk clerk would gladly microwave it for me ! I replied that I'm PAYING for a microwave in the room. .. (was told that on my first trip into the office, an the two more times, didn't produce any results either).. Also, ladies, if you want to wash your hair here, you may as well go down to the Merrimack River, as there is absolutely no water pressure.
Heather was very nice when checking in. The male attendant was not as polite checking out. My towels that clean had stains and hair all over them and they were ants covering my bathroom and in my bed. Rooms around us and people outside our door were extremely noisy at all hours of the night
